Meet our Optometrists
Dr. Geneva Fung
Dr. Fung was born and raised in Edmonton, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. She then went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry, where she graduated with distinction in 2011. Upon graduation, Dr. Fung returned to Edmonton and practiced at various locations in Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park before deciding to open her own office where she could take time to build relationships with the people within her neighbourhood and be a part of the community.
Dr. Kirstin Stayer
Dr. Stayer is a born and raised Albertan, originally from Red Deer. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary while also competing on their varsity swim team. She then made the move to Oregon to pursue her degree in Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry. Over the course of her final year in school, she had the opportunity to complete multiple externships across the United States in a variety of settings, including rural communities, veterans hospitals, and busy urban surgical centres.
Her goal is always to ensure all her patients walk out of the exam room with an improved knowledge about their eyes and with all their questions answered. In her free time, you can find her either cooking, trying new foods, heading out to the mountains to ski and hike, or spending time with friends and family.
